We would like first of all to congratulate you for taking this step toward excellence! Miss Gay Western States America has a deep legacy within the Miss Gay America system and we are extremely excited to be a part of that history! Each contestant is unique and has their own passion for this amazing system. Within this packet you will find the complete Miss Gay Western States America contestant application. Please take the time to read and complete everything that is required. We will gather signatures from you on May 27 at contestant orientation. Please read all directions and adhere to all deadlines. A schedule of official events will be sent to you at least 60 days prior to the pageant.
All contestants will compete in all 5 categories of the Miss Gay America System: Male Interview, Opening Presentation, Evening Gown, On-Stage Question and Talent.
Miss Gay Western States America will be held at the Hormel Theatre inside the Phoenix Theatre Campus, 100 E. McDowell Ave, Phoenix, Arizona 85004.
OPENING PRODUCTION ATTIRE The theme is Carnival. Think Rio Carnival, bright colors, feathers, beads, head-dresses. For more guidance, please do not hesitate to ask Daniel, Nick or Miss Gay America Suzy Wong.
